An international juried art competition open to all artists working in all mediums

THEME

Animal (a-na-mal) any of a kingdom of living things typically differing from plants in capacity for active movement in rapid response to stimulation...

Vegetable (veg-e-ta-ble) to grow, to animate...edible seeds or roots or stems or leaves or bulbs or tubers or non-sweet fruits of any of numerous herbaceous plants or

Mineral (min-er-al) a naturally occurring, homogeneous inorganic solid substance having a definite chemical composition and characteristic crystalline structure, color and hardness ...a substance that is neither animal nor vegetable...

As an artist this is where you find your inspiration - in the fields and forests, jungles, backyard gardens, at the beach, beneath the waves, in the stars - so give your creativity free reign and enter your finest works for all the world to see!!

This is not an on-line competition. Works accepted will be shown in the final Competition Exhibition opening September 29, 2007, in West Cornwall, Connecticut. Artists should be prepared to ship their work to arrive in West Cornwall on or before September 15, 2007. Works should be available for sale and will remain with Lady Audrey’s Gallery for three (3) months. If not sold within the three month time period, the artists may arrange for the return of their work or leave it with Lady Audrey’s Gallery for a longer period of time.

Work accepted for the final Competition Exhibition will also be available for sale on Lady Audrey’s Gallery website.

HOW TO ENTER

Entries must be in the form of 35mm slides, digital jpeg’s on a CD, or as e-mail attachments in 800x600 dpi jpeg format and accompanied by an official entry form or facsimile thereof. Incomplete entry forms, such as those without a telephone number, may be disqualified. Slides and CDs will be returned if accompanied by a Self Addressed Stamped Envelope. Please fill out or print out a copy and submit the Competition Entry Form.

Entries will be pre-qualified by a selection committee who will choose the finalists. Artists will be notified within 30 days of submission receipt whether your work has been accepted for the Exhibition Competition to be held in West Cornwall, Connecticut September 29, 1007. The artist is responsible for all shipping costs to and from Lady Audrey’s Gallery. All work submitted must be original and similar to what you will submit if accepted by the pre-screening jury.

Lady Audrey’s Gallery reserves the right to determine acceptable subject matter for the website as well as competitions. Lady Audrey’s Gallery also reserves the right to make any necessary changes to competition venue.
